\"Sonwabile\"I grew up attending services in The Universal Church<\/a>,<\/strong> but I only did that to please my mother. My life, however, was not genuinely committed to God. I was not entirely obedient to the teachings I received in the church. When I was 13 years old, I got involved with the wrong crowd and started smoking and drinking.<\/span><\/p>\n

I smoked crack cocaine and marijuana. To feed my addiction I would go to nightclubs and steal people\u2019s phones and sell them. There was one day that I drove to a club and drank heavily. On my way home, I was speeding and lost control of the car, which rolled about three times. I was physically unscathed, although the car was a wreck.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>That accident made me realize that my reckless lifestyle would inevitably lead me to premature death or imprisonment. Unfortunately, two months after the incident, I faced another devastating blow as my mother passed away. Even my finically life was bad because in that time period I was unemployed.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I had to decide to change my life. Faithfully I began attending the services in the church and engaged in the chains of prayers for my complete deliverance from addiction. Indeed, I got delivered from the grip of addiction.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I also got baptized in water to symbolize my decision to start a new life in God\u2019s presence. When the church introduced the Campaign of Israel, I saw an opportunity to change my life. That’s when I participated in the campaign, and made my sacrifice for my inner transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n

I fasted, read my Bible and would wake up at night \u00a0to seek the Holy Spirit sincerely. My desire was to live only for God so I would attend the services, and I seek the Holy Spirit. There was one prayer that I had peace, and I was happy. From that day, things were never the same.<\/span><\/p>\n

No longer did I have the urge to smoke, drink alcohol nor go to nightclubs. Today I am genuinely committed to God and I have my own business supplying mines with mine materials. I am happily married and have a daughter. We live in a good home, and we have a car,\u201d said Sonwabile.<\/span>
