That incident led her to smoke about 1 to 2 packs of cigarettes daily. Elena had no control over her addiction. She would smoke when pregnant with her first son because she could not resist the urge to smoke.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">When Elena turned 18, she began drinking beer and smoking marijuana. Later, she was introduced to cocaine by her then-husband. This addiction took away from quality time with her family, and soon, her son suffered the same habits she had.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">Elena\u2019s friend had invited Elena to <strong><a style=\"color: #003366;\" href=\"https:\/\/universalchurchusa.org\/en\/locations\/\">The Universal Church<\/a><\/strong>. She attended the Friday service of deliverance. At first, she was scared, but after attending the follow-up sessions, she no longer wanted to smoke cigarettes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">Elena persevered and began to focus on receiving the Holy Spirit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBut you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you\u2026\u201d (Acts 1:8)<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">\u00a0\u201cAfter I received the Holy Spirit. I didn\u2019t go back to my old life. I didn\u2019t have the urge to smoke, drink, or nothing\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Now Elena\u2019s life is transformed!
