She lived a double life and would snap at people, even her parents. At church, she was one person, but with her friends, she was another person.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">When she would go out with her friends, she would get drunk. Sadly, drinking became a habit because it would give her a sense of happiness when she was drunk. Being drunk would make her laugh and be happy, but she would be sad after the effect.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">The moment she realized she needed God was when nothing would give her pleasure. Going out with her friends would give her no joy. She would be bored, and it wasn\u2019t the same when she would drink. Drinking made her sad and bitter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">It was at that time that she remembered the scripture.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBut seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you.\u201d (Matthew 6:33)<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">Even though Chantal grew up in church, she never had a relationship with God. Yet she decided to return and do things differently. She stopped drinking, she left her boyfriend and friends and stopped living a double life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">Chantal started going to <a href=\"https:\/\/universalchurchusa.org\/en\/locations\/\">The Universal Church<\/a> more and practiced what she learned. That is when she heard about the Holy Spirit. She received the Holy Spirit on the last day of the Fast of Daniel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">Now Chantal is filled with true peace and joy.
