Many ask, \u201cWhy doesn\u2019t God answer my prayers?\u201d Do you remember when you were a child, and you\u2019d ask your parents for something, and they didn\u2019t give it to you? Everyone has heard, \u201cNot now, later,\u201d or \u201cYou don\u2019t need it.\u201d You may have been angry then, but later you understood why they said no. As you\u2019ve matured, you realize that your parents acted correctly and avoided giving you something that could\u2019ve hurt you.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many people don\u2019t understand why their prayers aren\u2019t being answered. They say God doesn\u2019t answer me, but the Most High hears all our requests because He is omniscient.<\/span><\/p>\n

Evaluate Your Motives for Your Prayers or How You Make Your Petitions to Him.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Some prayers can be based on selfishness, vanity, or anger. Therefore, they will not be answered.\u00a0Have you evaluated the motives of your prayers? Maybe you\u2019ve been asking for \u201cjustice,\u201d but your real desire is revenge. Or you have been asking for something just for your delight.<\/span><\/p>\n

God is a Father and wants the best for his children; because of that, He will not give you something that will hurt you. He knows when to fulfill a request.<\/span>
\nSometimes these requests are made for the wrong reason and in the wrong way. The Bible says,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou ask, and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your passions.\u201d (James 4:3)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

God gives what is necessary to each of us, and sometimes He doesn\u2019t respond to our petition because we are unprepared to receive what we have asked for. Therefore, you should not get upset when the Most High does not answer your request. Instead, maintain faith, persevere, and observe what lesson you can take from this situation.<\/span><\/p>\n
