Jesus spoke and used a sheep to\u00a0symbolize obedience. He did this so people could look at the sheep, evaluate its life, and teach us about obedience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sheep are the most docile animals on Earth. If they do not have a shepherd taking care of them, they get lost, do not eat, do not drink, and are subject to death. Sheep are entirely dependent on the shepherd to guide them. On the other hand, goats are difficult animals to deal with. They are rebellious and inflexible. They rub their beard in their urine, chase after the animals to scare them away, and are naturally stubborn.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lord Jesus explains in John 10:27-29:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy sheep hear My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life. They shall never perish, nor shall anyone snatch them from My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all. No one can snatch them from My Father\u2019s hand.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Sheep disperse when the shepherd guides them to drink water in the well. However, the shepherd doesn\u2019t worry because he knows they\u2019ll obey and follow him if he calls after them. Furthermore, sheep don\u2019t care about the other sheep. Nor do they compete to get closer to their shepherd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask yourself, are you a sheep? Have you been sensitive to the Voice of the Lord Jesus? Those born of the Holy Spirit do not look to their side. They do not talk about the lives of others. Nor do they judge, but they care about their soul. They are like a sheep which symbolize obedience.<\/span><\/p>\n

We encourage you to escape from the goats contaminated by the world. Be with the sheep, with the flock, and serve God with your life. The Excellent Sheep Follow Their Good Shepherd\u2019s Voice Because They Know He Will Guide Them to the Green Pastures.<\/span><\/p>\n
