So it must be with those who one day took part in the joy of salvation, but because of the cares of this world, lost sight of their spiritual values.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBishop, I want to come back to God, but I don\u2019t have strength. Pray for me.\u201d As if prayer would solve your problem. It won\u2019t. What kind of prayer will force you to take action? What kind of prayer will cause a person who has fallen to stand up? Jesus <\/span><b>commanded <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the paralytic, saying, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cArise, take up your bed, and go&#8230;\u201d <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Matthew 9:6). He didn\u2019t pray. He just told the man to arise, take his bed, and go home.<\/span><b>Arising<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>taking <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>going <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are individual actions. Obedience requires personal action.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t expect others to carry you and your cross. Don\u2019t accept being lazy and laid back in your faith. It\u2019s impossible to enter the kingdom of heaven without giving up the world. Other people\u2019s prayers don\u2019t work like magic and they can\u2019t put you back on the track of faith. You have to climb the track of faith yourself, through your personal sacrifice. Your sincere prayer to God is much more powerful than you think. Your attitude and willingness to obey and follow despite the difficulties will determine what you achieve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Take action. Don\u2019t wait on anyone; don\u2019t depend on anyone. Be honest with God.
