The Faith That Pleases God Involves…

Bishop Edir Macedo Explains What God Really Wants From Us

The Faith That Pleases God Involves…

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:1-2).

In this passage, the apostle Paul spoke with the Romans. Who at that point was converted and began to worship the Living God. They were used to lies, prostitution, pornography, everything that was no good. So it was difficult to lead them to a life of denial of the flesh. The secret that Paul revealed for them to keep the faith was to present their bodies as a living sacrifice.

In the same way, to keep the faith you have to present yourself to God as a living sacrifice. That is, being in a good, holy, and sinless body. It turns out that many people don’t understand this. They have faith to give an offering and sacrifice jewelry, car, and house, but they don’t have faith to leave sin. They have the faith to earn money, to have their family blessed, to achieve other blessings. But they don’t have the faith to sacrifice the desires of the flesh and thus keep their own faith.

Therefore, if you present your body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. You will automatically be sealed with the Holy Spirit and your mind will be renewed.
Flesh and thus keep their own faith.

Therefore, if you present your body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, you will automatically be sealed with the Holy Spirit and your mind will be renewed. However, if you present a service to God that involves emotions and feelings, you will be deceived.
