Don’t Despise the Humble Beginning

Starting From Scratch Is Not Easy, but Learn to Let the Holy Spirit Guide You and Overcome Your Struggles

Don’t Despise the Humble Beginning

Starting a company, project, or career requires dedication and hard work. Building something from the ground up is never easy, but with the Most High as your partner, you can be confident that he will guide and support you through every step. Just trust in him.

Look

Universal started in a bandstand, then moved to an old funeral home. In every country, in every place, the church starts small, with few people and look where it has come.

“Start your business at home, in your room, selling on the street, but start! Don’t despise humble beginnings. Start from the bottom, with small clients, and God will make you great, help you finish what you started”, said Bishop Jadson Santos during the lecture “Prosperity with God”.

Learn

At the beginning of your endeavor, always be ready to listen to the Creator. “His Word encourages, directs, blesses, strengthens, it awakens us from sleep, from spiritual tiredness and opens our vision. God makes us see details in each situation that other people don’t see. For example, it makes us see an opportunity, or that it’s time to move away from someone. Evil, on the other hand, works to make people blind, making them think there is no way out”, explained the Bishop.

God does not work with complacent and lazy people, so be ready to do what is necessary. And, above all, don’t be afraid to ask for help when necessary.

Above All

Value the action of the Spirit of God in you. “There are times when only he can give you calm, direction, patience. He supports you and helps you get through situations that you wouldn’t be able to do alone. Without him, you become stressed, sick, nervous. That’s why evil does everything it can to throw you off balance, to make you fight, scream, swear and act forcefully, because that way, it wins. You only win in the Spirit, with God. Therefore, learn to win in the Spirit: when the day is difficult, everything is going wrong, stop, pray and leave it in his hands,”  he taught.

Don’t Despise Small Beginnings

Starting from scratch is never easy, whether it’s a company, a project, or a career. It takes hard work and perseverance. However, when you let the Holy Spirit guide you, you can overcome challenges with confidence, trusting that God will help you every step of the way.

Consider This

The Universal Church began in a humble bandstand, later moving to an old funeral home. In every country, the church often starts small, with few people, yet look how far it has come.

“Start your business from home, in your room, or by selling on the street, but just start! Don’t despise small beginnings. Start at the bottom, with a few clients, and God will make you great and help you finish what you started,” said Bishop Jadson Santos during the “Prosperity with God” lecture.

Key Lesson

At the start of any endeavor, be open to listening to the Creator. “God’s Word encourages, guides, blesses, and strengthens us. It awakens us from spiritual fatigue and sharpens our vision. God helps us see details others miss, like recognizing opportunities or knowing when it’s time to distance ourselves from someone,” explained the Bishop. “Evil works to blind people, making them believe there is no way out.”

God does not work with those who are complacent or lazy. Be ready to do what’s necessary and don’t hesitate to seek help when you need it.

Most importantly, value the Holy Spirit’s presence in your life. “Sometimes only he can give you the calm, direction, and patience you need to get through situations that you couldn’t handle on your own. Without him, you become stressed, sick, and overwhelmed. Evil tries to throw you off balance, provoking fights and negative reactions, because in that state, it wins. But you can only truly win in the Spirit, with God. So, learn to win in the Spirit: when the day is tough and everything is going wrong, stop, pray, and leave it in his hands,”  the Bishop urged.
