Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

Return to your rest, O my soul,
For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.
For You have delivered my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
And my feet from falling. (Psalm 116:7-8)

When a repentant soul turns to God, it finds His forgiveness and receives rest and peace within. It understands how much the Lord does good for it and that His mercy and His great love are infinitely incomparable.

This soul acknowledges that it has even been delivered from death, much confusion, from tears, and from almost falling and losing faith. But the Lord was there, present, guarding it and protecting it from evil.

What a fidelity!
