What is prayer? Prayer is talking to God; a moment in which a person exposes their needs, struggles and adoration towards Him. Prayer fortifies one’s faith and builds his or her relationship with God.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” Mark 11:24.

The Universal Church acknowledges the importance of prayer. That’s why it dedicates each day of the week to pray for a different aspect in a person’s life.

  • Monday – Financial Life
  • Tuesday – Health & Well-being
  • Wednesday – Personal Spiritual Growth
  • Thursday – Family, Love Life & Inner Cure
  • Fridays – Liberation & Spiritual Cleansing
  • Saturdays – Impossible Cases
  • Sunday – Family, Inner Empowerment & building a relationship with God

In order to lead people towards a transformed life, the UCKG highly encourages a person to participate in a chain of prayer. A chain of prayer is a purpose in which the person commits themselves with God to fight for a life transformation. Through faith and perseverance, the person fights to see the cure of an illness, transformation in the family, financial breakthrough or spiritual deliverance.

During the services, people receive steps, guidance and encouragement through the Word of God to persevere in their fight to victory. During meetings, congregants are taught how to have intelligent faith and the importance of putting their faith into practice. When deciding to do a chain of prayer it’s expected for Pastor’s and assistants to accompany and fight alongside with the person to overcome any hardships.

People are welcome to start a chain of prayer for themselves, family relative, or a friend. Tough moments make people vulnerable and many times causes them to want to give up. The Universal Church will always lend a helping hand, their doors are opened to anyone that seeks help.
